1. Brownfield refers to an area that was originally industrial land and is now ready for redevelopment. The current location of Jinde Campus housed a brewery from 1956 to 1960. However, the project failed because the water quality was not suitable for beer brewing. One of the old factory buildings has now been reused as the I-hui Hall of the Department of Fine Arts.
