The so-called brownfield refers to areas that were originally industrial land and are now ready for redevelopment. According to investigations, the original site of the Jin-de Campus of NCUE was originally planned as a site designated for a brewery from 1960 to 1989, and the plan to build the factory was terminated because the water quality was not good enough for beer. One of the remaining factories was converted into the I-hui Hall of the Fine Arts Department of NCUE and it continues to be reused.
