SDG9.3 Number of university spin-offs
To  actively encourage teachers to use intellectual property rights for registering companies, NCUE has established regulations and provided a high-quality entrepreneurial environment. The actions taken are as follows:
1. Establishment of Regulations:

• The Executive Council reviewed and adopted Implementation Regulations for Spin-offs of National Changhua University of Education  on December 22, 2021.
• The Office of Research and Development held a meeting on the application process for spin-offs on March 23, 2022.
• The Office of Research and Development held the first working meeting on spin-off applications on May 30, 2022.
• The 2022–2023 Spin-off Review Committee  was established on June 1, 2022.
• The first Spin-off Review Committee and Task Force meeting was held on June 20, 2022.

2. Outcomes:
On March 17, 2022, the Office of Research and Development accepted the application of the first spin-off startup, A.nT Co. Ltd., which was granted a subsidy of NTD 7.60 million by the Ministry of Science and Technology under its Germination Program in 2022. On July 4, 2022, the Spin-off Review Committee approved the establishment of the company, which will be registered by December 31, 2022.
