The wastewater treatment procedures for our two campuses at Jin-De and Bao-Shan are as follows:

1. Jin-De Campus: Laboratory waste liquids are cleared and treated using the same method as that used for industrial waste, in accordance with the provisions of the Waste Disposal Act. An application for the cancellation of this campus’ permit for water pollution prevention and control has been approved by the Environmental Protection Bureau of the Changhua County Government. Accordingly, the campus has been declassified from routine monitoring and inspection. The originally installed sewage treatment facilities remain in normal operations.
    
2. Bao-Shan Campus:  Only general domestic sewage is treated here. After all the campus’ sewage has been treated by the sewage treatment plant, it is discharged from the outlet that NCUE has declared for routine monitoring and inspection. Water quality inspections are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Water Pollution Control Act, and declaration reports are submitted on a regular basis.
