SDG6.2.1 Water consumption tracking

In 2021, NCUE consumed a total of 495,669 m3 of water, comprising 98,661 m3 of tap water and 397,008 m3 of groundwater, respectively. Tap water and groundwater accounted for 19.9% and 80.1% of total water consumption, respectively.

3.4   Per capita water consumption:  The average daily per capita water consumption of NCUE (both campuses) in 2021 was approximately 171L (495669000 L/365 days/7919 population =171). This was lower than Taiwan’s average daily per capita water consumption of 289 L.
