SDG7.4.5 Assistance to low-carbon innovation-2021
1. NCUE is implementing ‘Field Research and Display of Multiple Microgrids in a High-concentration Photovoltaic Environment’, a sub-project of a project under the Ministry of Science and Technology, in collaboration with multiple companies, to which the research findings and technologies will be provided.
2. NCUE’s Taiwan Green Energy Technology Centre has established a small alliance for contactless power supply and charging technologies with 30 participating manufacturers, including Buffalo Machinery, Auto Tech, Sunshine Kinectics Technology, Te Chang Construction, Air Cool Industry, Join-Precision Technology, Raychuan Enterprise, Yong Xiang Construction, Higher Way Electronic, TPK Holdings, Won-Link Industry, Praise Machinery, Uniauto Technology, Ping Jeng Machinery, Shih Bang Technology, Yih Feng Engineering, Avertronics, Topsun Industry, Solid Year, Sunmit Industries, Ren Jou International, Miao Cherng Corporation, Feiloli Electronic, Cheery Technology, Yi Jin Shiuan Beauty, Aspire Electric Automation, Ying Fang Hardware Manufacturing, Yu-Shen HS Electronics, and Cub Elecparts. The alliance assists start-ups with research and development on energy-saving technologies. In 2021, the centre was granted the ‘Academic Community Promoting Innovation Plans on Value-added Technologies for Local Industries’ project and advised 15 manufacturers – including Diann Bao, Jia Meng, Ray-Fabrics, and Green World Ecological Farm – on the development of low-carbon energy.
