SDG 12.2.3 Policy waste disposal – hazardous materials

NCUE has developed ‘Guidelines for Disposal of Laboratory Waste in the NCUE.’ Waste effluent, chemicals, and empty containers from NCUE laboratories are removed twice a year. Biomedical wastes produced by infirmaries and laboratories are removed once a week, as indicated in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

The weight of waste effluent, chemicals, and empty containers from NCUE laboratories was removed in 2024, as indicated in Table 2.
