SDG 11.2.5 Arts and heritage contribution
To share the beauty of art with the local community, NCUE organizes free musical events, as well as art lectures every year. In addition to attracting students interested in joining related clubs, these events and lectures also welcome the community residents to participate.
1. The NCUE Wind Band and the Chorus in C-Major are composed of music-loving students. These clubs not only provide students opportunities for learning and exchanging their views and skills but are also often invited to perform at various events and engage in exchanges with other schools. Both clubs have frequently won several awards in national competitions and played significant roles in many large-scaled events organized by NCUE. Public performances by student clubs are listed in Table 1 and shown in Figures 1-2.
Additionally, both clubs actively participated in a national music competition, striving to bring the university hone. Through their various exchanges, the clubs regularly learned from other schools and created a set of highlights in their performances. All these achievements have fostered the growth of the clubs.

3. Department of English - English Drama
The Department of English aims to utilize what students have learned in the English Listening and Speaking course and the Drama course in this performance and apply it to stage performances, so as to achieve the goal of "generalizing professional curriculums." The curriculum is also expected to promote an English-learning environment at NCUE and across central Taiwan. Additionally, it seeks to promote cultural exchanges between NCUE and surrounding communities, cultivating a greater appreciation for literature and art through drama performances, as shown in Figures 12-13.
