SDG 11.2.1 Public access to buildings
NCUE I-hui Hall/Fine Arts Department Hall (Figure 1), Hsieh-ying Hall/English Department Hall (Figure 2), Hung-tao Hall/Chinese Language Department Hall (Figure 3), and Chiao-ssu Hall/Mathematics Department Hall (Figure 4) are of historical significance and have distinct architectural features. The public is allowed to visit the buildings for free throughout the year.
1. On 20 July 2018, the Ministry of Education sent NCUE the “Ministry of Education's List of Buildings with Potential for Cultural Assets” with the official letter Tai-Kao-(I)-Tzu No. 1040097609. The data source is the survey results of buildings before 1971 managed by various agencies as of April 2015. (Annex: 11.2.1A)
2. In addition, during the 2018-2019 period, NCUE commissioned scholars of NCUE to inspect buildings in NCUE with potential value as cultural assets before 31 December 1981. It was found that I-hui Hall/Fine Arts Department Hall, Hsieh-ying Hall/English Department Hall, Hung-tao Hall/Chinese Language Department Hall, and Chiao-ssu Hall/Mathematics Department Hall had historical allusions and architectural features.
