SDG12.2.3 Policy waste disposal - hazardous materials
NCUE has developed ‘Guidelines for Disposal of Laboratory Waste in the NCUE’. Waste effluent, chemicals, and empty containers from NCUE laboratories are removed twice a year. Biomedical wastes produced by infirmaries and laboratories are removed once a week.
Please refer to appendices 12.2.3A-Guidelines for Disposal of Laboratory Wastes in NCUE and 12.2.3B-Wastes Removed in 2021.
