SDG 15.3.3 Local biodiversity included in planning and development

The buildings on our university campuses were constructed in compliance with laws and regulations, adhering to the laws and regulations during development. Biodiversity was considered during the planning and development stages. For example, while planning the construction of the Wang Jin-Ping Activity Center, we added foliage by planting “Tortoiseshell” or Codiaeum variegatum, Acalypha wilkesiana belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family, St Bernard’s lily, split-leaf philodendron, Ti plant (Cordyline fruticosa), and bamboo around the center, related photos as shown in Figure 1.
