SDG 14.4.2 Action plan to reducing plastic waste
NCUE does carry out the classification and recycling of related campus plastic waste in accordance with the “Restrictions on the Use of Shopping Plastic bags, Implementation Methods, and Implementation Dates”, “Restrictions on the Use of Disposable Tableware and Implementation Methods”, “Restrictions on the Use of One-Time Plastic Straws and Implementation Methods”, “Guidelines for Administrative Authorities and Schools to Reduce the Use of Disposable Cutlery and Bottled Water” set by the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan. The plastic recycling data for the past three years at NCUE is as shown in Table 1, related photos as shown in Figures 1-2.
