SDG 12.2.7 Disposable policy: extensions to services

Currently, NCUE outsources cleaning, canteen, and security services to relevant suppliers. Contract specifications for all suppliers are in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Environment, Executive Yuan. For example, no disposable tableware or plastic shopping bags are provided in canteens, and the cleaning staff should be responsible for implementing garbage sorting and resource recycling policies.

NCUE has outsourced external service providers for cleaning, cafeteria, and security. All contract specifications for external service providers are executed in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Environment of the Executive Yuan and the legal requirements of NCUE, as shown in Figure 1. Disposable tableware and plastic shopping bags are not provided for dine-in use on the premises of NCUE’s canteens and restaurants, as shown in Figure 2 and 3. Cleaning staff practice garbage sorting and resource recycling, as shown in Figure 4.
