SDG 6.5.1 Water management educational opportunities
1. To assist the sustainable development of the environment in the local community, help residents understand sustainable development goals and devise effective strategies to achieve them, and provide the local community with high-level knowledge about water management, NCUE’s Environmental Education Center has launched corresponding training programs targeting local residents. Additionally, 24-hour and 33-hour intensive courses were implemented to extend the knowledge of the team of local teachers to ensure the joint care of the local environment.
2. In 2022, the Environmental Education Center launched “In-Depth Cultivation of Fangyuan, Working Hand in Hand with Dacheng: Industrial and Environmental Sustainability Plan for the Two Townships of Changhua County” project; the activities and themes are listed below as shown in Table 1 and Figure 1.
