SDG 6.2.1 Water consumption tracking
In 2022, NCUE consumed a total of 495,669 m3 of water, comprising 98,661 m3 of tap water and 397,008 m3 of groundwater, respectively. Tap water and groundwater accounted for 19.9% and 80.1% of total water consumption, respectively as shown in Table 1.

4. Per capita water consumption: The average daily per capita water consumption of NCUE (both campuses) in 2022 was approximately 155L (454,742,000L/365 days/7,989 People = 155L). This was lower than the country’s average daily per capita water consumption of 289 L, as shown in Figure 1.
